This is obviated by the fact that I post it HERE! I saw: David Lee RothSkid Row Kid Rock Journey How much fun is that??? They're in chronological order, and almost in order of fun. Kid Rock was better than Skid Row, but that 31 year old motherfucker from my home state takes himself too seriously. I knew a girl in MI who always said that about jim morrison, a statement with which I didn't agree. I like jim morrison, and he was a fucking hardcore motherfucker. Kid Rock, however, used to be hardcore. He used to be the Early Morning Stoned Pimp. Now he's the married long hair white trash Hitler wanabe. That's what I think of when I see someone enjoying and trying so hard to get everyone to chant their name and gesture cerimoniously along with their gospel. He wants to be the dude in The Wall. He wants a Kid Rock Cult. So fuck that. As much as I'll get into the spirit of good music and cheer for a performer - especially when they're giving a good show, which kid rock was doing a decent job of, I won't become a part of their flock.
